Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour is an annual, self-guided tour of juried Columbia River Gorge artists' studios.
The Tour, founded in 2006, provides an opportunity for the public to experience and enjoy art while meeting artists at work in their studios.
Artists who can show in a working studio located in the Columbia River Gorge from Cascade Locks to the Dalles and from Parkdale, OR to Troutlake/Goldendale, WA are eligible to apply. Juried artists may show independently or share a studio space with another juried GAOS artist. You may showcase art in your home if this is where you work.
It is the intent of Gorge Artists to showcase working studios and to serve as a year-round guide to art in The Gorge, promoting artists in enduring locations; "pop-up" shows are not permitted. Exception is made for one or more artists to show at The Dalles Art Center, a founding sponsor of the tour. Exception may also be made for heritage art guilds. Studio location must be clearly defined at the time of application and artist must be prepared to have their studio vetted.

*What does the Reduced Participation Fee involve?
As a cooperative event, time and work are necessary to make it successful. When you choose a Reduced Fee, you are agreeing to provide time and work to a specifically assigned job. If you become unable or unwilling to complete the assigned job, you will be charged the difference.
What does my Participation Fee include?
Participation Fees include a web listing featuring your submitted artwork and contact information on the Gorge Artists website, placement in the tour guidebook that includes a color image of your work, name of artists and/or studio, medium, short studio bio, as well as contact information and studio directions in the year-round tour book. Participation fees are also combined with business sponsorships to promote the tour through advertising and publicity outreach, and to provide signage and other logistics for the open studios weekend.
