Medium: Ceramics

Clean lines and delicious color are signature to my work. I collect rocks and other found items, using them as base forms for unique, organic vessels. Multiple layers of pigment are hand applied, building rich texture and a tactile finish that begs to be touched!

I am drawn to the clean and simple aesthetic for which the mid-century modern Scandi designers became well recognized. Stylized botanicals often appear on my work by process of sgraffito carving and/or free form pencil scribblings.

Directions: From I-84 take Exit 62. Turn south onto W. Cascade. Turn south at Rand Road (make a right at Taco Bell) and continue up hill to stop sign. Turn right onto May Drive. Head west approximately 1/2 mile, turn left onto Rocky Road. House sits at top of rise on the left, charcoal with white trim, fenced yard. Parking anywhere in driveway. Please enter studio through the red gate.
