Medium: Painting

My work consists of impressionistic landscape paintings and semi abstract monotypes. I make paintings that suggest a mood while capturing the elusive qualities of light. My hand pulled prints are paintings on paper created on a large printing press made by Ray Trayle in Portland. Through color and brushstroke, I attempt to capture the fleeting effects of light and communicate a strong sense of place and connection.

Directions: Take exit 62 toward W Hood River / Westcliff Drive. Turn right onto Cascade Avenue (US-30). Turn right onto Clearwater Lane. Drive to the top of Clearwater Lane and turn right at Leeward Apartments. Studio is straight ahead at the left end of the school building.
