Medium: Painting, Sculpture

My work is varied in subject matter. I paint many different things that are interesting or challenging. I don't feel a need to limit myself to a "theme" or one story. Every artwork means something different to me. I love patterns, colors and layering colors. Some paintings require more than 100 hours to finish. My metalwork is the same: I use patterns, textures, and colors to achieve finished pieces, using traditional metalsmithing techniques. To me art is a necessity, and an integral part of life. I love working in my studio! It is the highlight of my day.

Directions: Take I-84 to exit 64 toward White Salmon. Go north across the toll bridge. Turn left (west) on Hwy 14. Turn right (north) onto Hwy 141. Continue north past the James Dean gravel yard. Shortly after that, take a left onto Henderson Lane. Stay right. My studio is the green house on the left, #18.

From White Salmon, take Jewett Avenue west and stay on that road heading toward Mt Adams. Keep on Jewett which will go north to hwy 141. Turn left on Henderson Lane.

From Carson and Stevenson take Hwy 14 east to Hwy 141 north (left turn). Stay on 141. When you see the James Dean gravel pit, get ready to take a left turn onto Henderson Lane.
