Art Education at the MFA Museum School of Art Boston. Majored in Graphic Art. Created a printing business then taught myself how to weave. Wove fabric for womens’ clothing and sold at craft shows across the US. After creating a double weave blanket, I found mills to mass produce “throws” to sell to stores.
I then started painting the weave structures and other realistic landscapes. After moving to Hood River, I studied Chinese painting and changed my style. Living in Baja in the winter, I have been teaching weaving to a group of women for 24 years.
I share my studio with one student, Charlie Dine, who has worked with me for six years.
