Medium: Glass

My first GAOS tour was in 2014 and I had very little glass knowledge or experience. Boy did it show in my work. Since that time I have taken numerous training classes (several per year). While I have increased my knowledge immensely and am very happy with how far I've come I have by no means become an expert. In 2025 I had the opportunity to go to the Corning museum in Corning, New York. Oh my, what an eye opening experience that was. I would love to spend a week there. I love what glass does in the kiln and it is always exciting to see what you have. Learning new techniques with glass is one of my passions and learning to make my work more finished is another.

The Dalles, Oregon

Directions: From I-84, take exit 87 and turn south toward The Dalles. At the stop sign, turn left onto 197 (Dufur/Bend), take next right onto Fremont St., continue up hill where, at the Y, Fremont turns into Old Dufur Road. The next right driveway is mine. House is green with white trim. There is a white storage shed at the bottom of the driveway. You can park in front of the shed or in front of the garage. My studio is in the garage and is accessible.
